About Knut Henrik Henriksen
Knut surveys his surroundings
“The shape and the character of my works are defined by the given situation.”
Based in Berlin, Knut Henrik Henriksen is a Norwegian artist with a focus on sculpture. His work is site-specific, often involving long periods of time for the artist to study the space, the building’s drawing plans, and even the site’s past history. Only when Henriksen has gone through this laborious process does he create sculptures that are profoundly shaped and in direct conversation with the context of his work. Henriksen has created ornamental drawings for Absolut Art that are in line with his context-specific approach. These pieces are created specifically to suit the three different formats that artists on AbsolutArt.com can choose from to display their work.
