About the artwork

My series of drawings “In Limbo” includes characters who serve as metaphors for emotional states. They are contradictory—they oscillate between different states of mind, or towards a new phase. They deal with questions about identity—where does one living being end and the next begin? They’re also about being in a situation where you are dependent on others, for better or worse—forced to cooperate with other individuals or two different sides of yourself.
