About the artwork

In an exquisite architectural setting defined by blue and taupe, Position B presents a nude woman, hands on her hips and her back arched at an acute angle. The curves of her body echo the shapes of the architecture, while her abundant hair, in shades of blue, hangs from her head and, impossibly, dominates the lower part of the scene, also rhyming with the architecture’s hues. The artwork subtly presents a woman at one with her surroundings, radiating ease and poise.
