About the artwork

Jack and Meg White, the renowned musical duo that made up the White Stripes, gaze out at the viewer from a New York street in 2001, as sultry as can be. Jack White wears what appears to be a homemade shirt that comments on the band’s home city in a sardonic fashion: “New York confuses me.” We’re sure he’s not alone in that sentiment.
