About Carly Kuhn
Carly brings a quirky edge to the fashion world
“The way I draw people isn't so perfect, which makes the images more relatable.”
Illustrator and creative director of Cartorialist Studio, Carly Kuhn is an artist and illustrator whose work is whimsical and fun. This should come as no surprise, given Kuhn’s previous career in television comedy, which has influenced her unique, lighthearted and raw artistic style. Kuhn has previously collaborated with brands such as Prada and Dior, and publications like Elle Magazine and L'Officiel Italia. Kuhn tapped into the glamorous world of fashion for her three illustrations for Absolut Art. The first work is inspired by the nineties girl, and the heyday period of supermodels such as Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista. The second was inspired by designer Thom Browne's spring summer 2016 show. The third illustration takes its influence from the quirky Gucci girl.
