Samantha Culp & Andrea Hill
Both separately and together, Samantha Culp and Andrea Hill curate and produce innovative artist-led projects, most recently under the banner of their creative agency Paloma Powers.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Culp recently returned after a decade in greater China. Her writing has appeared in publications such as Artforum, New York Times T Magazine, and LEAP (艺术节) and she has curated projects for Impakt Festival, Design Shanghai, and the Los Angeles Art Book Fair.
Hill was a founding team member and Creative Director of online auction house Paddle8, and her writing has appeared in Aperture, Performa Magazine, and Collectorspace, Istanbul. As a curator, she has also produced exhibitions for galleries (The Goma, Tanja Grunert Gallery), museums (Matadero Madrid), and universities (Wesleyan's Zilkha Gallery).

About Shana Lutker
Shana searches flea markets for the old and new.
“I like to think about the complicated journey that objects must have taken to arrive together on a yard sale table.”
Sculpture, performance and language are some of the mediums that Shana Lutker uses in her artistic practise. Highly inspired by photographs from the 1880s and 1920s of Paris, flea markets, and libraries, she tries to find ideas and objects that simultaneously feel outdated and relevant for today’s society. Lutker’s subjects include Sigmund Freud and the interpretation of dreams, and the fistfights of the Surrealists. Her recent solo exhibitions include the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington DC, the Pérez Art Museum Miami, Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects, Wetterling Gallery in Stockholm, and Barbara Seiler Galerie in Zurich. The images Lutker has submitted for Absolut Art play with shapes, and experiment with invented signs and symbols. The result looks at how language, which is functional in design, can be re-purposed and transformed into aesthetic objects as well.
