Why have you chosen to live and work in Havanna?
"I didn´t choose this city, this city choose me..."

A bit about Reynier
"I was born on Friday September 23, 1983 at 5:00 p.m. in Párraga, a neighborhood in the outskirts south of Havana. I could have been born in any other place of the world, but I was born in Cuba, two years after the Mariel boatlift and six years before the fall of the Berlin Wall. My education was elemental. During my adolescence, while studying at the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts, I traveled throughout the province of the country, where I did my first works in nature. Then continued studies, at the Instituto Superior de Arte (unfinished) and Cátedra de Arte de Conducta, directed by the artist Tania Bruguera."
