About the artwork

Species: Psephotellus Dissimilis
Street: Plaza dos de Mayo
City: Madrid
Year: 2012
This was part of the Bird Project 2006-2017, in which I traveled to cities all over the world for 12 years to paste up cut-out photographs of birds at life size. Altogether I put up 4,982 birds as an homage to the American ornithologist John James Audubon and his monumental 1838 book Birds of America.
