The icon of the seated nude belongs to the most classical themes in art, and continues to inspire mediations and reinventions. Within this diptych of cut-paper portraits of a seated nude, I depict a celebration of a modern black female. In the making of the portraits, hip-hop was a central character. The portraits reflect the energy, raw power and dynamism of both the model and the music.
Each edition comes stamped with Wu-Tang logo emboss.
