Sapphire Tears

About the artwork
This work was part of a series whose initial inspiration was Jean Cocteau’s 1946 film La Belle et la Bête, his version of The Beauty and the Beast. It’s a beautiful piece of art house cinema. The inspiration was something about beauty coming from pain, and what is rare is precious.
