About the artwork
This painting feels like I have collaged it together with elements of a still life. The female torso represents a vase, the palm leaves are placed on top, and a sun setting (or rising) is composed within a picture frame. The original artwork was created for Fixed State, a solo show at Bau-Xi Gallery in Toronto.
In honor of this collaboration, Absolut Art donated $500 to Extinction Rebellion, an organization fighting climate change.
