Kenneth Tam’s work takes the form of video installations that include moving-image works and sculpture, and explores themes of intimacy, gender performance, and the negotiation of identity. His work has been exhibited at The SculptureCenter, MIT List Visual Arts Center, the Hammer Museum, and the Queens Museum, amongst other institutions. He has recently produced his first performance while in residence at The Kitchen, and has participated in residencies at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Pioneer Works, The Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts, and the 18th Street Arts Center in Santa Monica, CA. He is a graduate of the Cooper Union.
