About the artwork

I captured Steel Pulse at the Sea Hear Now Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey, in September 2019. This was a show of incredible strength and message. This band has come so very far and retained every ounce of its message throughout. Painting live with them was something I looked forward to so much. Perhaps it’s even some of the fabric of why I do this, as I’ve listened to them since I was thirteen years old. Their songs Soundsystem and Chant A Psalm are two of my favorites. Listen and you will know. Their 2020 Grammy nominated album Mass Manipulation gets right to their roots. It is fantastic!
